Deborah
has a strong base in pattern/fabric design,
typography and symbol design.
This has enabled her to take up the mantle of designing decorative
art with ease.
The world of mandala design opened to her when she designed images
for her second volume of poetry Who Sees the Wind.
After that Deborah concentrated on creating Celtic designs which led
to the publication of Celtic Decorative Art. O'Brien Press, Dublin.
The images Cross and Golden Centre are from the book.
Though Deborahs work is Celtic in style it is also universal. Influences
from other decorative traditions are present in her work.
